The Classic and Premium Origins series represent Blanxarts selection of chocolates for the most demanding palates. These bars were created to highlight the aroma and character of cocoa beans from a diversity of distant shores.

This very popular organic dark 82% chocolate bar is made from Forastero cocoa beans collected in the Rwenzori Mountains of the tropical eastern Congo basin. An aromatic chocolate with a very fine texture.

Between the East-African savannas and the dense rainforests of the Congo basin, exactly on the equator, lie the origins of these cocoa beans. They are grown on the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains – sometimes referred to as the Mountains of the Moon, the mythical source of the Nile – which have a mild climate and unique terroir, packing the cocoa beans with fruity flavours.

Tasting note: Fruity, with notes of red fruit and citrus combining perfectly with subtle richer, toasted touches of coffee, wood and nuts
Ingredients: Cocoa, sugar, cocoa butter

Vegan and gluten-free.
