Tibito Chocó 70% (september 2018)
More chocolate than this bar, for which the cocoa comes from Choco, can chocolate not be. It has a silky texture, with a taste profile of caramel and hazelnut, also some ripe banana and spicy aftertaste.
Single orgin chocolate from Chocó, Colombia
In the northwest of Colombia lies the Chocó region. It is the only department in the country that shares coastlines with both the Pacific and the Atlantic. This region is characterized by extremely high rainfall and extraordinary biodiversity.
Chocó is for example the home of the most poisonous frog in the world rana dorada venenosa (poisonous golden frog), and it is also the place where humpbacks give birth.
This land of pristine beaches, unique ecosystems, dense jungles and unused natural resources, is where Tibito obtains the best cocoa beans for this chocolate bar. Tibito buys beans directly from small farmers or farmer cooperatives. Quality is valued with a high fee. For Chocó that is ACERFUVER
