Ocelot has won with five bars stars at the Great Taste Awards in Great Britain. The Great Taste is considered the Oscars <\/strong>of the food world. Winning an award is therefore seen as a significant achievement. And on top of that, they won Nigel Barden Heritage Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No fewer than five bars received stars at the Great Taste Awards. Black Cherry and Blood Orange reached the top with three stars. Buckwheat and Sea Salt received two stars. The olive oil bar, which is brand new, immediately received one star. Also very good, then. (See all the award winners here.<\/a>)
Black Cherry was also nominated for the Great Taste Golden Fork, and on 1 October 2025, this bar was announced as winner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

At the Great Taste Awards, the 3-star rating is awarded to the best 200 products (across all food categories) from a total of 14,340 entries from 3,611 producers. For the chocolate category, this underlines the exceptional taste of Ocelot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ocelot Chocolate was launched in 2013 and focuses on organic and ethically sourced ingredients, working with cocoa farmers on sustainable projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Nigel Barden Heritage Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Nigel Barden Heritage Award, presented as part of the Great Taste Golden Forks, recognises producers who uphold traditional <\/em>production methods, are committed to traditional <\/em>ingredients or rare varieties<\/em>, preserve culinary traditions <\/em>and emphasise authentic <\/em>flavours. There are multiple Golden Fork winners, but there is only one Nigel Barden Heritage Award.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
