More than fair trade<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Kun\u00e1 is a brand of the Ecuadorian company FreshCosta, which – by our standards – operates a remarkable social policy. What we call fair trade is quite normal in Ecuador. At Kun\u00e1 it means social responsibility – firmly established throughout the concept. Producer well-being, job creation and the cultivation of high-quality cocoa are essential components. <\/span><\/p>\n

The “Nacional” or “Arriba” cocoa comes from the “Kichwa cooperative Asociaci\u00f3n Wi\u00f1ak” from the Unesco Biosphere Sumaco. <\/span><\/p>\n

The vanilla comes from Papantla in Veracruz, Mexico. There lies a family farm that has been growing vanilla for hundreds of years. Papantla is called the cradle of vanilla. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ingredients:<\/strong> cocoa mass, cocoa butter, panela (unrefined cane sugar: the juice of the plant is evaporated), natural vanilla extract. <\/span><\/p>\n

Chocolate made with Arriba cocoa beans from the Amazon of Ecuador, enriched with vanilla from Paplanta, Mexico. The composition is intensely fruity and fresh with soft vanilla notes. No tree was felled for the packaging. Paper made from sugar cane fibers.
