Based in Scotland, Ocelot produces exceptionally fine chocolate in every way. Not only the packaging stands out, but also the wonderful flavour combinations. Their cacao, or better: chocolate mass, is sourced in close cooperation with Original Beans. Please note: this cinnamon swirl bar is, contrary to all Ocelot’s other bars, not certified organic.

Original Beans produce a series of excellent single plantation chocolates, stimulating conservation of the local (rain)forest. This specific bar is based on s<\/span>ilky 42% Esmeraldas milk chocolate from Ecuador and blended with crisp buttery cinnamon bun, freshly baked by Wild Hearth Bakery in Perthshire. The rich caramel notes of the rare Arriba cacao beans complement the comforting pastry flavours.<\/p>\n

Wild Hearth are a wood-fired artisan bakery housed in a reconditioned World War II Nissen hut on the edge of the Scottish Highlands. Their state-of-the-art oven is fired exclusively with waste wood from timber milling, and their sourdough breads and pastries are slowly and carefully created by hand from organic flours and wild starters for the optimum depth of flavour, balance and lightness.<\/p>\n
