Original Beans is a Dutch-based chocolate brand with a mission. She has her own sourcing team that looks for unique and original cocoa varieties. They not only protect this cocoa, but also the environment in which it grows, the tropical rainforest. This Virunga (formerly Cru Virunga) is harvested in Virunga National Park in eastern D.R. Congo. With a cocoa percentage of 70% and a 20-hour conch, it yields a beautiful chocolate with a complex taste and a lot of depth.
Ingredients: cocoa mass, cocoa butter, raw cane sugar.
Flavour notes: warm notes of sour cherries and black tea.
May contain traces of milk and nuts.
