Absurdly delicious and truly honest chocolate

A general practitioner, an anthropologist, an art historian and a chef. Four Dutch friends Luc, Per, Wouter and Jasper set out to fulfil their boyhood chocolate dreams.  Now, on a daily basis it is Per and Luc who are producing bean-to-bar, responsible, completely transparent and crazily tasty chocolate from their small facility in Utrecht, situated right in the centre of the Netherlands.

Although they have reached the respectable ages of thirty-something, they remain boys. Their motto: you have to do good in life, not take things too seriously, and – of course! – enjoy eating chocolate. Completely Mesjokke – which, by the way, is a Dutch word with Hebrew roots, meaning something like ‘absurd’ or ‘crazy’.
