For this chocolate creation, the Swiss chocolatiers have combined raspberry pieces and quinoa chips with dark chocolate “Lindley” 64%, which features notes of raspberries, cranberries, black tea, and pepper. The acidity of the raspberry pieces enhances the fruity notes of the chocolate, while the quinoa adds a refreshing crunch.

Quinoa is a cornerstone of Peruvian heritage, playing a crucial role in the country’s agriculture, economy, and diet. This dynamic ingredient not only enriches the taste and texture of our chocolate but also celebrates the cultural significance and sustainability of Peruvian quinoa, the same country where the cocoa for the ChobaChoba chocolate is grown.

This organic 64% bar is made from selected cocoa beans from Choba Choba’s own farms in the Alto Huayabamba Valley in Peru. The ingredients are worked by one of the best Swiss chocolatiers to get their final form and bring out their natural flavours.

Chocolate bar name: Each chocolate bar is named after a Choba Choba cacao farmer and co-owner of the company. This bar caries the name of Lindley.

Who is Lindley? Lindley, born in 1972 in Pucallpillo, Alto Huayabamba, is the second-to-last child of Alicia. He spent his early years with his family before moving to Lima with his older sisters for schooling. After completing his primary education in Pucallpillo, he attended the Carlos Wiesse School in Juanjuí from ages 13 to 18. Following school, Lindley studied accounting and civil engineering in Tarapoto. He later worked as an automotive mechanic in Lima. In 1997, he returned to Pucallpillo, but his father’s death led him to stay longer than planned to support his family. Lindley joined Choba Choba in 2016. Lin, as he is called by his friends and family, is dedicated to creating a fairer chocolate world and dreams of improving his community and expanding his cacao farm.

Flavour notes: well balanced aromas of raspberries, cranberries, black tea and pepper.
