The Vietnamese cocoa producing region of Ben Tre is famous for its excellent quality cocoa beans. From those beans, Morin has created this pleasantly nutty 100% cocoa powder, with subtle acidity and spiciness.
Description
The cocoa beans for this 100% cocoa powder originate from the Ben Tre region, in the Mekong-Delta in the south of Vietnam. The beans are grown by several farmers and brought to a processing station for fermentation and drying. The processing plant is inside a school for handicapped children. The company Vietcacao processes the cocoa beans and at the same time guides the children towards meaningful work.
The powder is processed and packaged at the Morin factory in Donzère in the south of France.
Instructions for use: stir 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder into 200 ml of milk or water. Bring to the boil and then add sugar to taste. Or you can use it for cooking, baking, or as a topping.
Flavour notes: tropical spices, acidity, very good mouthfeel.
