Wild cacao from the banks of the Acará and Arauia rivers
In the Lower Amazon River Basin, cocoa purchased from several families on the banks of the Acará and Arauaia rivers is fermented by women from two of these families, in the most artisanal process among those that make up the Luisa Abram Chocolates portfolio. In this region, açaí extraction represents the main activity, followed by cocoa. But also the fruit and cocoa-cousin cupuaçu and wild Amazonian vanilla are harvested in this region. The cocoa harvested in this region is of the Amelonado type and has high genetic purity.
This chocolate has notes of roasted nuts, dried fruit, burnt caramel and pineapple. It has a firm texture and is characterized by a strong flavor and cocoa content. It melts quickly in the mouth, leaving a very distinctive aftertaste.
The beautiful packaging contains two bars of 40g each, packaged separately, totaling 80g of chocolate. This way you don’t need to open all your chocolate at once and you can consume it with 100% quality at another time! That is, if you manage to contain yourself, of course. The packaging also shows the story of the chocolate and a map of the origin.
This chocolate won a bronze medal at the Academy of Chocolate awards in 2021.
