Description
Definite creates a range of plain dark chocolate bars, designed to bring out the unique flavour notes of the different regions in the Dominican Republic. By using only cocoa and sugar a chocolate is created that is as natural and pure as possible.
Since 2024, the organic cocoa for this bar comes from Bhonacao, located in Paraiso in the south-western corner of the Dominican Republic where the climate is tropical and the beaches white.
Bhonacao maintain a close relationship with their producers through training and certifications, such as Rainforest. In addition, it supports the region’s producing communities through the development of social projects, allocating 10% of its annual net margin to this cause. Fermentation takes place in wooden boxes for six days and the drying of the beans lasts between eight and ten days.
Flavour notes: citrus, nuts.
Ingredients: cocoa beans (90%), cane sugar.
