Description
This yoghurt-fresh milk chocolate is refined with the so-called “lemon of the north”, the sea buckthorn. So named because sea buckthorn contains 200 – 900 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of flesh, depending on the variety, whereas lemons only contain about 50 mg. The shrub can grow up to 6 metres tall and thrives in sunny places on calcareous and well-drained soil.
Since the small yellow-orange berries are firmly attached to thorny branches and burst open quickly when touched, the entire shoot is cut off and frozen using a blast chiller for harvesting. The frozen berries can then be easily shaken off the branches. For an unadulterated fresh and sour taste, leaf remnants are also removed before further processing. A full vitamin taste for light and dark days!
Ingredients: cocoa butter, raw cane sugar, yoghurt powder (16%), whole milk powder, sea buckthorn powder (sea buckthorn pulp, rice flour) (10%), sunflower lecithin.
