Description
Fine flavour cocoa. Origin – Single Plantation MAVA Estate.
Upper and Lower Sambirano Valley, Northwest Madagascar. The MAVA Estate covers 1700 hectares, 600 of which are devoted to fine flavoured cocoa. The plantation is entirely owned by the family. There are two harvests per year.
MAVA plantations are winners of the prestigious Cocoa of Excellence 2017 and 2019, and this bar won silver at the Academy of Chocolate.
Flavour notes: notes of roasted nuts and dried fruit, sweet with acidity and roundness, slight astringency at the end.
Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar.
Made in an environment that also uses milk, soy and cashew nuts.
